The ACORD Implementation Tools (AIT) component is a “must have” for anyone currently using, or considering the use of, the ACORD Standards. This tool set includes an ACORD Object Maintenance Tool, a fully functional ACORD compliant database, an ACORD Translation Tool, and a tool that allows for the rapid upgrade to newer releases of the ACORD Model.
The ACORD Object Maintenance Tool supports the add, change, retrieve and delete of any data supported by the ACORD Model. All fields are validated to the appropriate level of the ACORD Model. The data is stored in a 100% ACORD compliant database, where the data model is a direct reflection of the appropriate release of the ACORD Model.
The ACORD Translation Tool enables non-ACORD compliant systems to communicate via ACORD XML. While maintaining strict adherence to the appropriate release of the ACORD Standards, the ACORD Translation Tool uses straightforward methods for the mapping of data to the ACORD Standards.
The ACORD Release Elevation Tool simplifies the upgrade to newer releases of the ACORD Model, as well as allowing for concurrent support of older releases. Our unique code generation process generates much of the JAVA code directly from the ACORD documentation.
The ACORD_Life_Metadata file is broken down into over 5000 individual modules. These individual modules allow for the rapid discovery of the detailed differences between releases of the ACORD Model, as well as providing the facilities for introducing customization into the model. All valid values found in the ACORD_Life_Metadata are stored in a separate database, enabling the internationalization and localization of the resulting software.
