Privacy Statement

L.I.D.P. Consulting Services, Inc. ("LIDP") respects the privacy of its web site users.   LIDP collects general statistical information and may also collect personal identifying information from users.   Please read the following which explains how the two types of information are used by LIDP.

LIDP automatically gathers general statistical information about its web site and users, such as date and time of access, IP addresses, browsers, pages viewed, number of users, and name of the domain from which the user accessed the Internet.   LIDP uses this information to determine how to improve the web site.  The information is also used to alert the LIDP Sales and Marketing Departments of the possibility of a prospective client and what areas of interest the prospective client may have.   LIDP may use this information to help diagnose problems with our server and to manage and enhance the web site.   LIDP may provide general statistical information about the LIDP web site to LIDP employees, independent contractors, agents, representatives and to outside third parties.

Clients and prospective clients of LIDP may also obtain more specific information regarding LIDP's systems, products and services by registering to download documents that address these various areas.   In order to determine whether to issue a Personal Identification Number (PIN) which will allow a user to access the information, a user must provide personal identifying information.   This personal identifying information includes such information as your name; title; company name, address, telephone number and e-mail address; the best time to contact you; product area of interest; approximate policy count; method of administration; current and desired technological platform(s) used; and desired language format.   You may also voluntarily include other areas of interest or explanation.   This personal identifying information is used for purposes of determining whether to issue a PIN.   It is also provided to the Sales and Marketing Departments at LIDP in order to deliver information to you and contact you with regard to your interest.   The personal identifying information you provide may also be used to improve marketing and promotional efforts, to statistically analyze site usage, and to customize our site's content, layout and services.   LIDP does not provide this personal identifying information to any outside person or company, unless LIDP is required by law to do so or by first obtaining your permission.   If you do not want to provide personal identifying information, you can "opt-out" by not registering for permission to download the documents. If you "opt-in" to register for permission to download the documents, you give LIDP permission to contact you and provide you with more information and to use your personal identifying information as explained herein.

Clients of LIDP may also use the web site to access certain utilities.   Clients must provide certain information such as a Client e-mail address and company name.   This information is used to issue a PIN for the Client to access the utilities and to send e-mail to the Client.   This personal identifying information is not provided to any outside third party unless LIDP is required to do so by law or by first obtaining your permission.

LIDP uses cookies for internal purposes to store and track information about you once you have registered to use the documents.   A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer's hard drive.   LIDP uses cookies to remind us who you are, gather statistical information about usage, research visiting patterns, and provide information to our Sales and Marketing Departments about you.   While you can reject cookies, you will not be allowed to access the documents if you do.

If you are using LIDP's web site to inquire about career opportunities, certain personal identifying information is gathered from you.   This information includes your name, address, home telephone number, best time to call, area of interest, career objectives, related experience, technical skills, experience in the information and insurance industry, ability to travel, and salary expectations.   You may also voluntarily provide your resume via e-mail.   LIDP may share general statistical information gathered from the information you provide with LIDP employees, independent contractors, agents, representatives and to outside third parties in order to comply with governmental regulations and laws, assess employment needs, determine salary ranges, or other business-related functions.   However, personal identifying information you provide is not shared with any outside third party without your permission, unless LIDP is legally required to disclose the information.
