LIDP Privacy Policy

L.I.D.P. Consulting Services, Inc.

Effective date: 20/29/2026

Who we are and what this policy covers

L.I.D.P. Consulting Services, Inc. ("LIDP", "we", "us", or "our") builds and supports policy administration software for life, health, and annuity insurance carriers. Our customers are insurance companies, and the people we deal with are the employees of those companies and the businesses that contact us.

This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website, www.lidp.com (the "Site"), and in the course of doing business with our customers; how we use it; who we share it with; and the choices you have. It applies to information LIDP collects for its own purposes. It does not apply to information held in our customers' own systems, which is described under "Policyholder and consumer data" below.

Information we collect

Information you give us on the Site. If you fill in the Request a Demo form, we collect the information you enter: your first and last name, email address, company, phone number, and job title. Only the email address is required. If you sign up for updates, we collect your email address. If you email or call us, we collect whatever you choose to include, such as your contact details and the content of your message. Form submissions are delivered to our website's inbox and to the LIDP staff who handle inquiries.

Information collected automatically. The Site is built and hosted on a third-party website platform. That platform sets a small number of cookies needed to run the Site and keep it secure, and it gives us visitor analytics, such as the pages visited, how long visitors stay, the type of device and browser used, the referring website, and an approximate location based on IP address. The platform also reports technical errors to a monitoring service so that problems with the Site can be fixed. We use this information to understand how the Site is used and to improve it. We may also use third-party analytics, advertising, and similar tools on the Site. These tools may set their own cookies, pixels, or similar technologies and may collect information about your visits to the Site and, in some cases, other websites. These providers may use that information under their own privacy policies, for example to help us understand how the Site is used or to show you relevant LIDP content and advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the Site may not work correctly without them.

Information from our customers. When an insurance carrier becomes an LIDP customer, we collect the business contact information of the people we work with, such as name, job title, work email address, and work phone number, along with the records needed to deliver, support, and bill for our products and services: contracts, support tickets, project documentation, and similar business records.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your inquiry and arrange a demonstration;

  • send the updates you signed up for;

  • deliver, support, and improve our products and services, and manage our relationship with our customers;

  • run, secure, and improve the Site, and measure and improve our marketing;

  • comply with the law and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not make automated decisions about you using it.

Policyholder and consumer data

LIDP's software runs in environments that our customers own and operate. LIDP does not host our customers' production systems and does not transfer, store, or back up our customers' production data, including policyholder information, on LIDP's own infrastructure. When a customer sends LIDP limited data for implementation, conversion, testing, or support, we ask the customer to mask or minimize personal information before sending it, and we handle what we receive as confidential under that customer's contract rather than under this policy.

If you hold a policy with an insurance company that uses LIDP software, that company's privacy notice explains how it uses your information, and questions about it should go to that company.

How we share information

We share personal information only in these situations:

  • Service providers. We use third-party companies to run our business, and some of them process personal information on our behalf: our website hosting platform and analytics and advertising providers; our email, calendar, and document collaboration tools; our support ticketing and project tracking tools; and our software development and delivery tools. These providers may use the information only to provide their services to us. They are reviewed under our vendor management program and bound by written agreements to protect it.

  • Legal and safety. We may disclose personal information when the law requires it, to respond to a court order, subpoena, or other legal process, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of LIDP, our customers, or others.

  • Business transfers. If LIDP is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of its business, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, and we will continue to protect it as described in this policy.

We do not sell personal information.

How we protect information

LIDP runs an information security program aligned with the SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria for Security. Access to personal information is limited to the people who need it for their work, protected by multi-factor authentication, and removed when it is no longer needed. Confidential data is encrypted in transit over public networks and at rest, company devices are centrally managed and monitored, and our security policies are reviewed at least once a year. Our Information Security White Paper, available on the Site, describes the program in more detail.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we protect your information with safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or as long as a law or contract requires. Contact information from inquiries and sign-ups is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove it. Customer business records are kept for the life of the customer relationship and for as long as needed afterwards under our data retention schedule, after which they are securely deleted.

Your choices

  • Updates and marketing emails. You can stop receiving updates at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send or by emailing Info@lidp.com.

  • Access, correction, and deletion. You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing Info@lidp.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may keep information that a law or contract requires us to retain.

  • Cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, as described above.

Children

The Site is intended for businesses and their representatives. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at Info@lidp.com and we will delete it.

Where we operate

LIDP is based in the United States and serves customers in the United States. Personal information we collect is processed and stored in the United States.

Changes to this policy

We review this policy at least once a year and update it when our practices change. When we make changes, we post the new version on the Site with a new effective date, so the date at the top of this policy shows when it was last changed.
